Do you charge for the design?
No. We arrange a meeting to discuss your project, develop your design plan and costings on our CAD design system, and present them back to you. This is all provided free of charge, with absolutely no obligation.
Can you work from an architect’s plan, or just my ideas?
Both. We provide a comprehensive and creative design service for all our clients, whether they start from an architect’s plan or a scribbled wishlist.
What does a kitchen cost?
Every kitchen is designed and costed individually, because they are all made to measure. A guide on request: please call us or come into the showroom and we will talk it through. Your CAD plan and costings are free of charge and carry no obligation.
Where are your kitchens made?
All our cabinets are made in our own workshops in the Kent countryside by our own experienced craftsmen. Clients are always welcome to come and see their furniture being made.
What are the kitchens made from?
That depends on your agreed design. Construction can range from solid wood throughout, to veneered carcases with wooden or MDF doors. We work with a variety of woods as defined by our clients, including oak, walnut and maple.
Are the drawers dovetailed?
Yes. Beautifully dovetailed drawers are standard, as are high quality ironmongery and fully adjustable feet.
Are the cabinets delivered flat-packed?
No. Cabinets are delivered to site as complete units. The doors, drawers and trims are fitted on site once the carcases have been installed.
How do hand painted kitchens work?
Hand painted cabinets are delivered to your home fully primed. Once they are fitted, our highly experienced painters come and hand paint them in whatever colour or colours you have chosen.
How do I choose a paint colour?
Our designers will help you decide a colour scheme for your room. We supply sample paint pots to try at home and, when relevant, we organise visits to previous clients to see how a colour looks in real life.
How long does installation take?
Depending on the size of the project, installation can take half a day or 3 to 4 weeks. You will always be kept completely up to date at every stage, and your furniture is delivered on a date and time convenient to you.
Can you coordinate other trades, like builders or electricians?
Yes. We work with selected contractors including general builders, electricians, plasterers, tilers and flooring specialists. Depending on the scope of works, we will either incorporate it as part of our installation, or run it as a separate contract with the selected contractor.
Do you supply worktops and appliances?
Yes. We supply traditional woods, granites and all the options in between for worktops, plus a wide range of appliances from all the leading manufacturers, sinks, taps, handles and accessories. Where granite worktops are needed, Woodwork organises every element for a seamless service.
Do you make bedroom and bathroom furniture?
Yes. We design and make bespoke bedroom and bathroom furniture, contemporary or traditional, including for awkward spaces.
Do I need an appointment to visit the showroom?
The showroom is open Tuesday to Friday 9.30 am to 4.30 pm and Saturday 10 am to 4 pm. Monday is by appointment. You can request a visit online or call us.
The showroom phone was not answered. What should I do?
We are a very small team, so it is not always possible for us to get to the showroom telephone. If we do not answer, we are sorry. Please drop us a short email and we will get back to you as soon as we can.
Where can I park?
Meadow Road and the adjoining streets have parking. There is also a free public car park in Yew Tree Road: turn immediately left after the traffic lights.

The showroom has kitchen, bedroom and home furniture displays, installed kitchens and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Tuesday to Saturday, and Mondays by appointment.
